I think I’ve just realised my breast implants are destroying my body and my embryos by causing auto immune disease…
I was just wondering are there any women on this forum who struggled to conceive until removing/ex planting their implants? Just interested in numbers!
think I’m going to have mine taken out before my next embryo transfer…

not sure if this is helpful or not but a girl from the band s club 7 (Hannah) had issues getting pregnant and had breast implants that caused a lot of issues for her i dunno if the two were connected but she was very ill try you tube you might be able to find the documentary that she made or some online articles she met with several people who had issues because of their implants.
Thanks - I have just started to connect the dots on many things and everything is starting to make sense... I think it was all the breast implants...I didn't know what the symptoms were of breast implant illness but now I've been reading, I'm shocked...
In the last year I have had chronic sinusitis, I've had chronic fatigue for years but just thought it's because of stress in my life, also have dry scratchy eyes every morning when I wake up - no explanation for that... I had IBS for a good while when I was stressed, and just recently I'm getting a burning feeling around the implants... I think maybe they are going wrong...that's not to mention now fertility issues - I have good quality eggs and nothing wrong with womb but still not pregnant...
My consultant has ruled out egg quality for me and my womb is clear of scar tissue... so it's almost certain I have an auto immune condition.
I've heard from other women about this and one of them said she was pregnant within two weeks of explanting - they were messing up her hormones and the doctor told her she would never get pregnant so she was shocked. That lady told me she knew of others who explanted and then they were pregnant very shortly afterwards...
Hi rainbow baby. Oh dear, yes, I’ve heard this before. A lady I spoke to was put on prednisolone to support her immune system and they reckon it was that that helped her pregnancy. Might be worth asking. Good luck and I hope you get your rainbow baby soon. Diane
Thank you! the consultant for me has already said they will prescribe that drug on the next embryo transfer... Really hoping that will work - provided I get more good embryos at my age...
I think I still want them out of my body though before that because if they start going really wrong after I have a baby it's more difficult? It's really expensive to get them out properly though so when you add that to all the IVF it's just becoming unwieldy!
Just if anyone is reading this subsequently and is interested... I had a consultation for breast implant removal surgery on Friday... my consultant said he had a few women who were struggling to conceive and they were worrying it's the implants...
I think you are onto something. I came across this too and had considered removing mine. But opt for immune test. And now doing immune protocol with treatment.
I think it’s common… I just had another egg collection and I’ve only got one fertilised so the sad thing is I am not sure I will have any now to do auto immune protocol on! ☹️
Just wanted to tell you! I had them removed two weeks ago- the rash I had is now gone and my breathing is better… just waiting for the inflammation in my eyes to completely go…
I think I had mould poisoning from them! When they take them out they often find mould and it causes all the symptoms I had plus infertility!
I just wanted to warn you!! You could get mould poisoning testing to check yourself because my symptoms didn’t really become obvious until it was too late and I’ve now lost my babies 😢
oh wow! i'm so glad it worked for you! yes maybe think about it later - you can join the facebook group for breast implant illness to check what's happening/for help/advice xx
