2 embryos transferred

So I've just had 2 embryos transferred, not the best quality so fingers crossed they will continue to develop. Feeling very emotional at the moment in a good way I think, any recommendations of what can be done today so many mixed reports of what should or shouldn't be done it gets confusing xx

I had a week off work and went away to a cottage with my husband. Even if physically you are fine its tough to get your head around things.

I also ate pineapple core and brazil nuts for a few days. I avoided all the foods you should do during pregnancy too but other than that ate a normal diet with the odd treat.

Fingers crossed for the result.

x

Thank you, I've heard eating Brazil nuts and pineapple is meant to be good will give them a try and see what happens, am off work next week for a few days as I have a friend coming to visit so will just aim for that. Many thanks xx

Loads of luck to you dreamer, even lower quality ones can thrive and lead to a lovely baby. My clinic advised to go about your normal day except no strenuous exercise or heavy lifting. I am on week 2 of my 2ww and not working atm so taking it easy whilst keeping distracted with meeting friends & lots of reading. I've eaten pretty healthily and drank lots of water, the usual. I think it's probably common sense. Hope it works for you xx

I also ate pineapple & core last week for about 5 days, it was really delicious so hardly a chore! x

Hi Dreamer0204 - Brazil nuts and pineapple core are a great start! I drank coconut water too to help my tummy and lots of warm foods that were easy to digest (the thought being that it's easier for your tummy to break down so you your body can concentrate on the embies). Rest up for today and then try to get out for a walk each day but no housework or lifting I was told. I've also read to keep your feet warm but try to keep yourself cool (no hot baths etc). All of that is probably nonsense but it helped give me a focus. I would have a bit of cake for a treat when I fancied it! Lots of luck for your 2ww - OTD will be here before you know it! x x x
