Hi I found out on Wednesday my embryo transfer failed an came on my period on the Friday, I had a few bad pains yesterday but today it’s on another level.
I can’t touch my left side or pelvic area an when I need to go the toilet the pain is horrendous, I can just about walk to the toilet with the pain when my bladder is full, just wondering if anyone else experienced this an is it normal?.

Ah I’m sorry that sounds awful. It’s normal to get cramps and some pains afterwards but yours sounds a lot worse than that. I know it’s difficult because of the bank holiday but I’d try to contact your clinic or failing that a GP for advice. I did have a lot of pain after a transfer once and it turned out I had an infection of some sort. I hope you feel better soon xx
thanks for the reply I’ve just spoken to the hospital they’ve told me to take different painkillers an if they’ve made no difference in 20 mins, to go in for a checkup xx
Hi Shelly, did you find out it was unsuccessful by a negative test? And then stop meds and period on Friday? Did you do any hcg blood tests? Was it frozen or fresh?
There could be a few reasons but you certainly shouldn't be in that much pain, so I'd go and get checked out. Hope all is ok and you get some reassurance soon! X
Hi thanks for the reply, yeh it was by a negative test so I never took progesterone that day then period started Friday. No my clinic don’t do blood test an it was a fresh transfer.
The pain is better today stomach is just sore to move a that. X
