help with vaginal estrogen tablet

hi I am commencing my era mock cycle this month. I got my medication and I was told I needed a vaginal tablet but they have given me the oral ones as and extra of the same for my vagina.

how am

I supposed to insert them? Has anyone else experienced this? Or had the same meds?

The clinic said that it has to be oral and vaginal estrogen

The same oral tablets prescribed can be inserted vaginally or taken by mouth, so you won't have 2 different type of medication. Vaginally taken can have a better absorption and better outcome.

best to check with your clinic but this happened to me too. The estrogen we bought in Spain said vaginally and other boxes said oral only. When we got back to the UK i needed more but they gave me oral boxes only. When I asked the Clinic they said they are fine to insert orally and vaginally. My husband inserted them with his finger, he’s got bigger hands, be careful doing this as you don’t want any infections! wash your hands throughly! Put your mind at ease and check with your clinic.

Yes if you are taking prognova, the tablets are exactly the same Orally and Vaginally. I use my middle finger and push it as far as it can go. Defo wash your hands begore and after and keep nails smooth. Sorry TMI!!!
