Hey
Might be a silly question but do you need a thick lining for egg collection ?
Thanks

The embryo transfer lining is what matters. Most clinics I believe like to see it at 7mm or above, some clinics will say 8mm. X
Hi Bonaire. No, like Skittles11 said, the thickness of your uterine lining only matters when an embryo is being transferred (because you want an ideal environment for it to implant into).
Although, if you are planning on doing a fresh transfer 3-6 days after your egg collection (depending on your blastocyst growth), then your clinic may be able to assess how your lining is going at the time of egg collection (which would be normal ovulation time), to see whether or not your lining growth is on track for the upcoming transfer. If you're planning on doing a freeze all for the embryos, your lining for the egg collection cycle doesn't matter at all.
Lining of womb is important at the time of embryo transfer so as to hopefully encourage implantation - good thick bed to nest in so to speak
Good luck with your treatment
