Wondered if anyone could advise. I’m having a programmed transfer shortly. Our test date will be 14 days following transfer of a 5 day embryo. For previous natural FET’s our test date has been 11 days following transfer. Does anyone know why the advised test date would vary depending on the type of transfer? I’m taking no trigger injection ahead of transfer, but I’m on estrogen, lubion, utrogestan for this transfer. Previous transfers haven’t included the estrogen. Many thanks for reading and wishing you all well. X

test days are a weird one. I was always told they try and do it 18 days after conception (so for a 5 day embryo, it would be day 13 after transfer ) - but I know different clinics have different ideas, some do it as early as 9-10 days after transfer and some as late as 14…. No idea how it varies so much 🤨 x
my test dates have been all over the place from the same clinic. For a medicated FET once it was 16 days later! I asked them about it and they said it’s not always to do with the day the transfer happens it’s to do with when certain medications are started too, if that helps? My natural FET was 14 days after transfer I think (I don’t really bother with actual test date anyways though so it makes not a lot of different to me 😂🤣) good luck xx
