5 weeks - pain & spotting starting

Hi all,

I am 5weeks, 1 day today and I have been feeling like gassy pain, it's in the stomach area and all around really. I feel like I have to lie down as it hurts at times standing up. I've also got some brown when I wipe but not in my pad yet.

I have had a miscarriage before which basically started with these pains and around this time so I am just assuming that is what is happening again.

Just looking to see if anyone had similar symptoms and it wasn't a miscarriage? (Wishful thinking)

Thank you.

Hi dear

I am sorry you feeling all this pain and spotting

I font have such experience myself and I dont want to give you false hope it is better if you check with dr and go by tests but from what I read these many years on forums from other ladies there might be pain and/or spotting even with a viable pregnancy

Specially bcuzzits brown it might b implantation bleefing stuck in there and now comes out

If it was a fresh red bleeding I would say more concerning but still its wise to lie down and rest if you have bleeding its what I heard

It may go away but as per pain I heard its there in early month bcuzof changes your womb goes through to make room for baby.

All that said I hope its nothing to be wortied about and pray it continues good and healthy.

Lots of positive vibes sending your way

Try to rest as much as you can

Xo

I guess you know from experience that it isn’t always a happy ending with pain and spotting BUT there are so many stories on here where it did turn out okay so there is defo hope! For me I’ve had pain and bleeding be a miscarriage but also be a healthy pregnancy, there wasn’t much difference tbh in what I was feeling and if you are on meds that can also contribute to cramping and spotting. I’m holding on to hope for you that it’s a better outcome for you this time 💜 xx

Thank you for your reply. It is reassuring. This morning the pain has gone and just have a few aches and the spotting stopped as well. I went to do an hcg test as well so I know what's happening and will repeat it in a couple of days. I will hope for the best although in this journey only the worst has ever happened so I won't be surprised. Thank you for replying. Very much appreciated.

Hi,

I just wanted to send you a hug and I hope that it works out for you. I'm in a very similar position and although I feel like it's not going to work out well for us I have seen so many stories of it working out for other women. I really hope that we're both one of those ❤️.

Take care xxx

Yes I really hope so. The worrying never stops! I hope you are feeling a bit better today and I hope it settles to a stage where you can stop worrying. Big hug and take care of yourself and get the rest you need.
