*sensitive post* advice please - spotting/cramps 5 weeks 5 days

Hi,I'm 5 weeks 5 days pregnant after IVF. I'm on daily oestrogen patches and daily progesterone pessaries (which I use rectally). This afternoon I started spotting - this is very very light brown and not always there when I wipe but has been there on and off for a few hours now. It's so light it could go unnoticed. I have noticed some very light cramping too but not much at all and I can't tell if this is new or whether I've felt them for a while now. My first scan at my IVF clinic is on Tuesday morning, would anyone think I'm OK to wait until then? This is all new to me so I don't want to panic and make something more stressful than it needs to be.

I have had a miscarriage before from natural pregnancy which felt very different - it was like bleeding with a period

I had spotting and the odd cramps up until 12 weeks when ok cyclogest. Healthy baby boy…4 in a few weeks. They won’t scan you at hospital at this point unfortunately. Hard not to worry but it sounds fine to me and coups just be implantation.

I had similar at 8 weeks and everything was OK. You probably won't be able to get a scan anywhere before Tuesday, but that should be fine. My spotting started on a Thurs and I had a scan the following Tuesday. X

I had spotting and even some bleeding (due to a ruptured blood sac - which is apaprently quite common after a FET) up to 10 weeks. I'm now 14 weeks pregnant. Brown blood is old blood, so I wouldn't worry too much. Hope your scan goes well! X
