2nd cycle after freeze all not arrived

Hello lovelies,

So I had a freeze all in December, had my first bleed as expected 2ish weeks later, 2nd cycle hasn’t arrived yet. I’m on CD32 usually (28/29). Definitely not pregnant just so frustrating as we’re planning for our FET next cycle.

I have heard it can be delayed so imagine it’s normal just wondering if many others have had this I guess and when did AF end up arriving?

Thanks X

Hey, my second cycle after a failed first cycle arrived on CD36.. I usually have a thirty day cycle, though not unusual for me to have a little longer cycle. Hopefully it will turn up soon 🤞🏻 Xx

Thanks XOXO13 I’m hoping it’s just a few days and nothing crazy 🤞🏽I have had 32 day cycles in the past but not for a while X

Hi there. I had a mock cycle on progynova and cyclogest in August to do my ERA. I got my AF 3 days after stopping all meds.

I had to let that cycle go as I had a rubella vaccine top up as my antibodies were borderline.

We had planned to start meds again for transfer when AF came around September end but I never got it. I went on till CD52 without one till my doctor prescribed Norculot. Prior to that I always had regular cycles that lasted 28-30 days.

I finally got my period 4 days after stopping the Norculot and we transferred on that same cycle and I am now 13+5.

Hopefully you should get it very soon but if not definitely reach out to your clinic incase they’re able to help. All the very best to you !

Hiya, totally understand the frustration, I felt exactly the same! I normally have a 25/26 day cycle and mine turned up on day 35, so it might take a while but it will come! Good luck 😘 x

Hello! Am in the same boat as you! Waiting to start my FET and currently CD38 with no sign of it appearing. My clinic said to call them early next week if it still hasn’t appeared so that they can scan me to see what’s going on (by that point I’ll be CD 42/43). I’m usually 28/29 day cycles too and after my first failed cycle last summer, it came back like clockwork! Each cycle is different I guess so am just waiting rather impatiently!

Fingers crossed yours makes an appearance soon xx

Mine was day 35. Usually my cycles are clockwork, around 26 days. I was freaking out about the length but it will come eventually for you. Xx

Thanks guys, I’m sure it’ll turn up! I’m down to do a natural cycle so just hope when this cycle arrives it’s fairly regular ! X

Same as many others above. Mine came in CD 35 when I’m usually 29/30. I’m now waiting for my second normal period since freeze all and I’m on CD 33... I thought this cycle would be back to normal. Now I don’t know whether to test just in case, miraculously I’m pregnant or just wait it out. The longer I wait though, the less likely I am for my next cycle to fall at the right time for my FET next month. 🙁

It’s really difficult isn’t it! Is your FET natural or medicated? If medicated it shouldn’t make too much of a difference i imagine? Mines natural so plan was to go on February’s cycle but if they’re going to be irregular I think I may ask to medicate!

Fingers crossed yours comes soon! I tested even though I knew there was barely a chance with timings but couldn’t help myself 🙈 also was having a vaccine and wanted to be extra sure .. that was my excuse anyway!

Hi,

My cycle is fairly regular. After my 1st ivf (zero fertilisation) my cycle ended up 36 days then gradually reduced down to 34 the month after then 32 the month after that. I then started my 2nd ivf cycle (freeze all) and i think all the drugs i had taken the previous few months took their toll and my cycle ended up 52 days! The month after it was 39 days and luckily after that it went back to normal for me. The drugs mess things up a lot i think! Unfortunately its sometimes a waiting game. I know other ladies sometimes get something from their clinic to bring it on, i dont know if this would be an option for you if this goes on any longer. Hope things sort themselves out for you xx
