PGT Result X Chromosome Low Level Mosaic

hello, we have had one low level mosaic reported from a recent PGT-A test. The report states “chromosomes impacted: +X” then “low level mosaic”. I’m struggling to research this chromosome defect and whether it’s worth transferring. Would anyone have come across this at all? Thanks

Hi MollyRobs I am no expert on this at all, but I wanted to share this. We did PGS for all our embryos (after batching) and one of them came back low mosaic (I don’t have the full details). The clinic recommended using other embryos first but still freezing that one as we might be able to use it after genetic counselling. This happened over a year ago. Less than a week ago I got a random call from the clinic saying that their advice on low mosaic has changed based on new research and that they will now treat them the same as euploid and good for transfer as studies have shown the same chances etc as euploid. I can send you the pdf they sent me if it helps at all ? Wishing you lots of luck in this journey xxxx

Replied on your other thread. On 2nd pregnancy with low-level mosaic (awaiting CVS results but they tell me it looks really good). Definitely consider using. Here are some articles that may help:

Maybe you could have a discussion with your fertility dr/embryologist about your concerns

Wishing you good luck with future treatments

It's definitely worth transferring! Low level mosaics may as well be euploids basically, they are almost always euploid when they test them at birth. The cells tested come from the placenta, so not actually the baby. I transferred 2 of my mosaics xx
