how to find a surrogate?!?

Gosh. I didn’t think I would get to this point. Looks like my amazing little embryos (from hubby and egg donor) aren’t going to implant in my broken uterus. It now won’t even get a lining close to anything acceptable and has other issues.

The medical team have advised it’s time to find a gestational surrogate. I really thought I was coming to the end of the road with my little baby insight but now it feels like I’m back at the start.

I’ve been as open as I can be to everyone with no luck. I’m in New Zealand and the surrogate can’t receive any financial reward. I’m posting on all the groups but no luck yet.

For those who found a surrogate how did you do it?!? Or for those who travelled to the USA or Canada did you use an agency?

I had a shocker of a day with someone I helped with the process get pregnant on their first IVF cycle. So happy for them but fix it hurts.

In the UK, it is not allowed to pay for surrogate. Also you need to have medical reason proof that you need a surrogate. It could be same in the Europe (I don't know it well). I believe it is more easy and convenient to find surrogate in the USA (you can pay for surrogate, more commercial), there are many agents when you google it. Xx
