Due for transfer… constipated 😔 Some fluid still in Fallopian tube

Hi All,

Hope all is well.

I had my day 10 scan today, lining is looking good. It’s about 11mm. They did say I have a small amount of fluid in my one remaining tube which worries me but the consultant is aware of this and was happy to proceed given the circumstances I have stage 4 endo. I really hope this doesn’t have an impact on my embryo getting comfy.

Another concern I have is I have not been the toilet for four days, this is a thing that pops up a lot with me but I’m worried as I don’t want to take laxatives after I’ve had transfer. Has anyone got any advice on this as it’s worrying me. My transfer is on Friday so 4/5 days to go.

I really want this transfer to work as I don’t know how much longer I can keep going through this mentally, not to mention the cost on my purse.

All advice would be grateful. xxx

I was told there was a bit of fluid in my tube too which scared me to death as I’ve had ectopics before but they was also happy to go ahead with it. It ended up working so 🤞🏻 It does for you. I presume your on medication ? It can make you constipated so try not to worry xxx

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Yes I’m having a FET so I’m on progynova medication 3 times a day. I’m not sure what I should do about going the toilet. 🤔 Like you I have had an ectopic and lost one tube and the baby. Only got one tube which they said has a small amount of fluid.

Wow that’s fantastic it worked for you. Congratulations. Do you have endometriosis too? xxx

I’m sure medication of any sort can make you constipated maybe have some orange juice & weetabix see if it helps. Ahh so sorry to hear that 🥲 ectopics are so hard to process. Like you I had one removed with baby & one left. It total I have had 4 ectopic pregnancies naturally so had ivf .. fresh transfer failed then the first FET worked & i am22 weeks nearly I never thought it would happen xxx

If you like eating fruits I suggest eating some dragonfruit or drinking prune juice to help with constipation.

thank you ❤️ Yea it was worrying me loads but they said they wasn’t concerned & I'm sure they wouldn’t do it if they thought it wasn’t the right thing to do .. eat plenty of pineapple core/ Brazil nuts & drink pomegranate juice that’s what I did too not sure if it helped but still haha xxx

my consultant said the same, he said he would rather it not be there but they are not seeing it as a massive concern as I’ve got endo and had an ectopic so it’s probably normal for me. Ha ha thanks for the tips. Il do that, thanks. Il get a cheeky McDonald’s on the way home too 🤣 xxx
