Anyone had more than 7 egg collections?

I need to check my sanity. My ovaries ache. My body is tired, but I am thinking about my seventh egg collection. Do you think it could be physically damaging? There doesn’t seem to be any regulation on it x

I've had 6 too and no-one has mentioned that being an issue. I guess best to check with your doctor my dear and to think about what's best for you. Good luck!

i had my seventh egg collection last month..and I m totally fine.

I gave up after six, my ovaries were so scarred from egg collections I am bedridden with ovulation pains for 24 hours every month. My body had just had enough, I just didn’t feel like myself anymore. Probably took me a year to feel ‘normal’ again but the ovulation pains remain x

only you know your limits. I have a friend who got twins in her 7th collection! Best

Hi Seren. I think it is all down to how you respond and cope with the process as to how many collections you do. If you are exhausted, perhaps a little rest before you try again? Good luck! Diane
