Should I transfer our 2BB?

My husband and I are debating to transfer our 2BB or go for a third retrieval. It’s not a strong embryo grade but I feel it still deserves a chance because it only takes one. Anyone transfer the same level or close to it and what was your experience?

I think the letter grades are suppose to be more important than the level of expansion so a blastocyct still good? My clinic didn’t save of my blasts they didn’t think was good enough to freeze or transfer so I think clinics tend to say. If they said it’s worth a go, it’s probably got some chance? Your embryologists will be able to say whether they think it’s worth it.

Our clinics grades are different and I don’t know how this pregnancy will turn out but it’s the equivalent of a b grade.

Best of luck

My new clinic and consultant don't believe in embryo grading. They do say if is good enough to be frozen there is always a chance for the embryot o turn into a beautiful baby. I did read somewhere that grading embryos was more of a "beauty contest" I like the sound of it to be honest as I find grading put lots of pressure on people. I don't know how true is all that but if it was me I would try with the embryo I've got left before going in for another EC.

Best of luck with whatever decision you make. Just listen to your heart and do whatever it feels right 🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🍀🍀🍀🍀

Transferred a 2B-B- and a 1-2B-B- and am 26+1. A higher grade FET failed, so really not sure how important grading is- if it's considered good enough to freeze or transfer then it's got a fighting chance! Best of luck 🙂🤞

thank you!!

I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant from a 2BB little frozen embryo. Obviously the decision is one only you can make but just wanted to offer a positive story. Good luck for the rest of your journey xx

if your embryo happens to be chromosome normal than chances of a life birth are very high as you don't know if it is or not than give it a chance or if you think to do another EC and consider PGS testing to avoid disappointments than don't transfer it. Test them all together and chose the best one.

In regards to embryo grading... really it doesn't really matter that much ...I have twins from 5BB and 5BC embryos but PGS tested.

good luck whatever you decide ❤️🤗

I had 1 ab which was miscarried by 6 weeks. Second one bb which my Doctor proposed to send for pgs. She told it's better to test and rather than transferring and taking so much hormones unnecessarily if they are not good ones. PGS showed it was Trisomy. Depends more on advanced age and if you had earlier MC, if not, you may try to go for ET.
