no-one warned me

no-one warned me about stimulation activating my endometriosis again, and I was not offered mild Ivf even though I am not wanting multiple embryos and I have endometriosis - why would they not give me mild ivf? It was never discussed! My body may be permanently damaged now as this endometrioma is not going to go away on its own!

very quickly in just 5 days of using the menipour injections .

My ivf cycle got cancelled due to follicles not growing to so it’s just a double disappointment.

Awaiting major surgery .

Hope your doing ok .

mine too, I was so upset because I endured 3 months of down regulation with decapeptyl and it was a nightmare, just to be offere a fet on a medicated cycle , the taking of estrogen made the endometrioma come back so quickly after the failed fet 😭😭

Hi ForABabyPanda. Hopefully with some treatment for the endometrioses and cyst, you will be able to start a different protocol more suited to you. Ask questions when you go back. Good luck! Diane

ugh, I just wish they’d taken my endo into account or at least warned me so I had a choice of protocol based on risk. The only treatment available for endo is more surgery which I absolutely didn’t want to have after last time, and if the IVF protocol they chose caused me to need surgery I’ll be really annoyed! Like will they not do further IVF on me before I get the endo surgery again?

Hi. Yes they could do. Might down regulate you for longer to see if it can be calmed right down. Fingers crossed. Diane xx
