Waiting for nhs new financial year anyone else gone through this?

Hi me and my partner got our results yesterday, I have mild poly cystic ovaries and endometriosis, I’m 34 partner is 42. We were told we would be having ivf but wales has ran out of money to fund it this year and we will have to wait until at least April or longer next year, we will receive a phone call with a date not a letter. Has anyone else had this? Xx

Hi LGCD. i have been told funding has stopped for ivf. and the decision will be reviewed in a years time. I have wait almost two years and now when close to ivf was told funding is stopped. Really sucks. I would try and get as much info as possible maybe appeal for funding. I was ready for ivf before funding was stopped therefore many people still get a chance to have one go at ivf. Therefore find out if you have been tld in a reasonable time before the funding was paused. Im really sorry to hear this. its heart breaking. lots of cuddles for you honey. Hi bibi_16 they never said it was just stopped it’s just until April next year the new financial year, they explained what we would go through well me as regards to ivf, and just said we would get a phone call. So are you not getting ivf at all now? I’m so confused over this all now xx
