ok so previously my AMH level was 5.8, in jan 2022 and now I’ve got results from June 2022 and it’s went up to 6.5. Is this normal? I have stage 4 endo for reference and waiting on surgery which is probably going to wipe out my level and make any chance of ivf not possible, but just wondered if it’s normal for it to go up like this? I am 38 also any one know about TFT results? This was 1.26 no idea what this means?

Hi,
When I first had my AMH tested last year in September time, it came back at 5pmol, i then had it tested again at my consultant request and it came back at 7pmol, I asked if this was normal and he said it can always slightly fluctuate. Luckily this worked in my favour as 5 was too low for NHS funding and 7 managed to secure the funding for us. I think its quite normal for it to range a bit slightly.
I cant advise on TFT as im unsure what this is.
Im sorry to hear your having to go through surgery, I hope it all works out successfully for you x
TFT is I suspect thyroid function test, from memory for fertility purposes they like this to be below 2.5 so yours is absolutely fine! Good luck 😘
