I've decided to go with eight donor frozen oocytes and fertilise with fresh semen next week. Has anyone gone down this route?

The donor produced and froze 18 oocytes three weeks ago. So I'm hoping that means it's a lot stronger. Please do Share your stories especially if you are using the same method. I'm currently on progynova to prepare the lining of the womb and would appreciate any good tips or suggestions

That’s a great number! I used frozen eggs and frozen sperm (as am single and 45!) and am currently 10 weeks pregnant from my first transfer. I was and still am on progynova, lubion and cyclogest. Very best of luck xx

Hi Storm, I went with donor eggs and my husbands sperm. We got 3 embryos from 9 eggs, first transfer was a BFP. Baby daughter born at the end of July. I was on Progynova initially then Cyclogest pessarys as we went with a natural cycle with frozen embryo for transfer (the medicated one couldn’t keep my own cycle at bay for a fresh transfer) was also on Inhixa but that was more due to my age (47!) and weight. Hi storm, we had 8 fresh donor eggs and my partners sperm. We are in tww with a 5aa hatching embryo at the moment and we have another 2 in the freezer. I think 8 will definitely give you enough for transfer and hopefully freeze as well - good luck xx
