I currently have covid and we are just about to start the process for our 3rd transfer. We’re doing a short protocol and due to start with Norethisterone next Monday before starting with the next cycle. Our transfer date is currently scheduled for 3 November. Is this likely to impact my transfer?

covid before FET
I was told it depends how unwell you are. If extra unwell, my clinic said they would postpone but If mild, probably would go ahead as normal esp for fet (but worth checking with clinic obvs). I had fresh cycle in august and covid in June and had no issues at all. Best of luck and hope you feeling better soon
Hello! Sorry to hear you have covid pre transfer! I too had covid early Sept and was due a transfer around the 17th but it was cancelled. A recent study in women under 40 undergoing FET found that there was a significant difference in conception in women who had had and recovered from covid in the last year and waited 60 days before transfer and those who had transfers less than 60 days. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/355...
That being said, they were unvaccinated women. My doctors recommendation was to wait a whole month in between, which is what we have done, since I am triple vaccinated and have had covid twice now. Good luck! All this waiting is frustrating!
Hi Hope. You should be over covid by then, so I think your clinic will go ahead, providing you test negative. Fingers crpssed for you. More information here... Diane
Thank you all, I contacted the clinic today and they are happy for me to go ahead as planned. I’ll definitely be isolating more than I have been between now and November 3rd!
no, I had COVID one month before my transfer and I’m currently 16 weeks
I got covid the day of transfer, was run down and then had to stay in bed for days. Was so sick. But the transfer worked. I am now pregnant with my little girl - 18 weeks. To be honest if I didn't catch Covid i reckon i would have had to go again for another transfer. It pushed me to relax, take it easy and have bed rest.
