FET timelines

Hi I'm currently on medication for a FET. I have my scan next week to see if my womb lining is ready for transfer. All being well & my lining is ready, does anyone know when the transfer would happen?

Hi Nat

I had my prostap injection yesterday and go back on the 28th to see if my lining has thinned then. If it has then they said 8 -10 days on the estrogen tablets and then another 5 days (I think that's what she said!) before your ready for et.

So if you've down regulated next week you should be in for transfer some point w/c 1st August...

Me too... We only have one frozen embryo and I'm constantly worrying about it...

Hi Nat I imagine all clinics differ but I've been given my schedule for FET (if all goes to plan) and I have a scan on the 3rd then my transfer on the 9th. I'm currently on down-reg injections. I think that when the clinic can fit me in for the transfer comes into it so it might not be that long for you, they did say fet is more flexible/can be tweaked. Good luck xx

Yes it seems all clinics are different. This is my 1st FET after a chemical pregnancy (IVF) in March. Thanks for sharing your dates, this helps me roughly no what timelines to expect. Can't believe I've only just discovered this support network as I really needed it in March when I had my 2nd mis carriage.

You're very welcome, this site has been a life saver for me too. I really underestimated the toll IVF would take on me emotionally so it's been great to have this. So sorry to hear about your miscarriages 😔

We also have just the one frozen embie, after a failed cycle in March where 2 were transferred. Fingers crossed this is our one 🙏🏻 lots of luck to you xx

Looks like there is 3 of us who (all being well) will be having fet early August with only one frozen embryo too.
