2 Eggs fertilised out of 4

I was disappointed when I was told I only had 4 eggs retrieved as had lots more follicles but consultant said he could get to all of them due to position on my ovaries.

Today I received the call to say 2 eggs have been fertilised. The embryologist mentioned about a 3 day transfer.

Has anyone else had only 2 eggs fertilised and still got their BFP?

Please share your stories as I’m praying for them to make it.xx

What day transfer did you have?xx

A two day transfer as we only had one embryo. No blastocysts.

We only got 4 eggs as I only had 5 decent sized follies. Only 1 fertilised, one other fertilised but abnormally. Our little miracle embro got to day 5 and started hatching and was a grade 5ab. I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant. I was initially devastated that we only got 4 and only 1 fertilised and that we didnt have any to freeze but what was worrying going to change 🤷‍♀️
