We have 10 fertilised eggs!

Hi!

So we got the call this morning that 11 of my eggs were mature and 10 have fertilised!

We are booked in for our embryo transfer on Sunday and the embryologist said he’d call on Sunday morning to let us know how they’re doing.

Any tips for the embryo transfer? I know I need to have a full bladder which I’m dreading as I always seem to drink too much and then it becomes so uncomfortable! X

Hey congratulations on your fertilised eggs. For transfer, my clinic told me to empty my bladder 2 hrs before transfer and then to drink 1 litre of water in the hour before the transfer. Worked perfectly for me, I hope it works for you too!!

Oh that sounds better! I always have a really full bladder because i drink too much! I’m always scared it won’t be full enough so I always over drink! Hopefully it won’t be too bad! Thank you xx

we live about 20 minutes from the clinic and I just sip all the way down until we get there. it will only take about 5 minutes once your in so you can go to the toilet right after if you drink a little too much! all the best xx
