Clomid try 5 of 6 - Is it really going to work?

My first cycle on clomid the clinic did follicle tracking and showed that I ovulated on it. Great. Now I have been left to my own devices and no options to speak with a consultant til the New Year. I was hopeful up until our 4th go yielded no results. Now with only 2 tries left I'm feeling very down about it. We already had a failed IVF last year and can't afford to go privately.

I just wanted a pick-me-up, has anyone had success this late on in using clomid?

Clomid is a great fertility medication so keep trying - do not concentrate too much on timed intercourse- have frequent sex to increase chances of success!

don’t give up hope. I conceived on our 4th go and was getting so disheartened! I found I ovulated later using clomid! So even if you think you’ve ovulated I’d still keep trying through the cycle. Everything crossed for you 💖x

thankyou, I really hope it does for you too. Also I was getting checked by the clinic each month with bloods etc and they told me I hadn’t ovulated the 4th time and that there was no way I was pregnant… but I was! So they can miss it too. If it would put your mind at ease tho could you ask for blood tests on cycle days 21,28 and 35 to check you’ve ovulated? Xx
