How long does the trigger shot last in your system?

Hey all,

I just wondered for anyone who tested out their trigger how long it stayed in? I had gonasi 10,000. Also I know you shouldn’t test early but I’m dying to know!

I had 10,000 gonasi and it was a faint line at 6dp5dt but gone on day 7. Good luck x

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I’ve done a test today at 5dp5dt and it’s a faint line. So it’s still definitely trigger as I’m 12 days since trigger so probably be similar to you and take basically the full 14 days! God the waiting is a killer isn’t it. I feel like the only form of control I have is to test, but then it also drives you mad, absolute catch 22! Hope all is going well with you and your pregnancy 🤗 xx

I tested every day as I'm a little crazy like that. I had feint line at 3dp5dt, negative 4dp5dt and then the feint line returned from 5dp5dt which was my BFP. So it doesn't always take the full 2 weeks. Only way to know is if line gets darker or lighter I guess. Wishing you lots of luck xx

Yes now my crazy testing commences! I’m the same, can’t wait, but I wish I had done it properly and tested from the start as now I have nothing to compare to haha. Thanks for your reply and congrats on your bfp!xx

I tested it out, still a (very) faint line at 7dp5dt, gone by day 8. Good luck x

Best wait for your OTD- difficult I know ! Try to keep your self occupied with other things - reading - watching a box set on TV - watching old films . Rest when you can and look after yourself . Take any meds you have been given as directed and good luck .Thinking of you
