How long does the HCG trigger stay in your system for?

I’ve just taken a test to check it’s out of my system ahead of test day next week and I have a faint positive? Egg collection was last Wednesday so 9 days ago? Can it take up to two weeks? Xx

My transfer was Monday and I don’t know how long they take to get out of your system xx

They said Saturday for me to do a HPT and they will do bloods on the Mondays. With my FET I got a positive on 8dp5dt so I’m at least going to wait until then! Xxx

Got a positive ☺️ I feel strange I want to be happy but I don’t feel I can get excited yet I feel a load of mixed emotions as I had so much trouble last time after my positive hpt I got so excited then my blood levels didn’t double so I had a really rough few weeks so I think il feel happier once they have done bloods next Monday and then seen that they doubled by Wednesday! And after scan to see heartbeat! Still a long way to go but this is a step in the right direction! Xxx

Aww that’s fantastic news congrats 💜 and I know I feel mixed emotions but obviously your going to be a bit more worried as what happened last time I can’t wait to hear the little one heartbeat make it feel real then and then hopefully put my mind at ease a little xxx

hi I am on the exact day fro transfer as yourself , my test day is next friday too I took 2 cheapie tests yesterday and positive but then took a first response and was negative ! I think its too early to test x

Well I did embryo transfer on Monday . They said test date next Wednesday is it too early to test

Yes 2dp5dt is definitely too early! I’m 7dp5dt and haven’t tested yet - going to tomorrow tho as that’s when I got a positive with my little girl.

Thank you I was so down the other day I took a test to early and saw it was negative (also had literally no symptoms) and then me and hubby decided to test today as I’ve got 3 night shift so not going to see him and was shocked to see bfp 😬 your be joining me tomorrow with your bfp 💜 xx

I’m so happy for you! You must be over the moon! It will probably take a while to sink in but when you have your 7 week scan and see the heartbeat I’m sure it will start to feel real!

I’ve had cramping, few dizzy spells, I cooked beef stew earlier and the smell of the uncooked beef made me gag 😷 I’m not sure either way I hope so 🤞

Sorry to but in but I’m lookin for advice, I’m not doing ivf but iui, took my trigger on Saturday and since I’ve felt horrible, so you know how long the side effects of the ovidrel can last and if cramping is normal? thanks xx

I have cramped on and off since starting my meds so not sure if what drugs caused it etc so not 100% sure for iui. I’m sure it may cause some cramping as it’s preparing your body to ovulate. Have you spoken to your clinic? X

Yeah, they said I’d probably experience some discomfort, I’m on gonal-f 😑 it’s horrible. Thanks for the quick reply xx
