My advice is just to do things that relax you and follow the clinics instructions (timers in your phone etc.) that will keep you right! Lots of selfish you time over the next few weeks and dont feel guilty about it!! you are putting your body and mind through a lot 🤗 wishing you lots of luck 🍀 xx
It will be a complete rollercoaster and emotions will be high, totally underestimated it, not always bad but its hard to get your head around until go get to it. just take each day at a time, try not to think ahead too much, pencil in plenty of rest/chill time and lots of nice little things with you and your partner, constipation can be an issue after collection so plenty of fluids and fibre. The plan during IVF can change at the drop of a hat including doses, date of egg collection etc so although it's hard try to be open minded to being flexible (i wasn't!) as it makes it easier to cope with.i also cant recommend enough talking to a counsellor as things can be surprisingly challenging, it can be hard to talk but after it really helps and helps to talk to someone out of it but knowledgeable on it,
Hi Kay. I think keeping busy is the key. Have a rest for a bit, then go for a short walk. Eat well and make sure you keep your fluids up and don't get constipated. Just really wanted to wish you well as it's a scary time. Plenty of support here for you. Diane
