If any one can give advice i would appreciate, I had my transfer Tuesday my last day 6 embryo
My consultant is experienced in the business 20 years however I got a fright after transfer as blood on the catheter he assured me this was from the cervix , the transfer was uncomfortable compared to the previous transfer ..
Ive seen dr Google say that blood can negatively impact implantation. Does anyone have any experience with this ?
also I asked the lab for a photo of my day 6 embryo they said they don’t have photos of day 6 as it was a compacting moral on day 5 ..
does this sound strange?
I got pictures of my previous embryos transfer which were day 5
thanks ladies

Hi Bettyboobyrbe. I think I agree with your specialist, as a slightly difficult transfer can irritate the cervix. How can it be implantation bleeding on insertion? He/she will have done nothing wrong I'm sure. Good luck! Diane
I agree with Diane, a lot of IVF drugs can make the cervix quite swollen so its more prone to bleeding, lots of people spot when inserting pessaries so the chance of a small bleed when a catheter is going through isn't uncommon.
There seems to be a real trend for videos or photos of embryos at the moment, but the two clinics I have been at don't offer either. I wouldn't worry too much about it, its not going to impact the outcome and hopefully it will be a beautiful baby in 9 months time. Good luck x
