So scared

Hello ladies I’m currently 5 weeks and 3 days post FET my first cycle. Yesterday I had a heavy red bleed passing clots and cramping. I’ve expected the worst. I rang the clinic who told me not to worry and that it’s too early to do anything . The bleeding stopped after sn hour but was heavy. I was wondering if anyone has experianced the same thing? Xxxp

I did have some bleeding (bright red) for like an hour at 6+6, and brown spotting around 8+5 and 9+6 weeks. I am currently 11+3 and have seen and heard the heart beat and the baby is growing according to schedule. Apparently a bit of spotting and bleeding can happen in the first trimester. As long as the bleeding does not soak a pad or accompanied with uterine cramps it is nothing to worry. Please do contact your clinic for a check if the bleeding continues.

Good luck. Sending positive vibes. 🤞❤️🤗

Thank you so much, it was a lot of bleeding I would say I do have PCOS so my cycle is really irregular anyway. Sorry TMI but the clots were quite large and on Googling (don’t know why I do it) it said I could be the placenta tissue and the sac could be in the clot. I have a scan on Friday 15th now. I really do hope I’m still pregnant. I’ll be beside myself xx

i understand the tension and stress around this and google is not very helpful other than adding to it. Wishing you the best for the scan on 15th. Sending you all the good vibes and crossing everything for you. 🤞🤗

Hi Rkaur. This so common and often no reason is found. Hopefully all will settle down and you can look forward to your first scan. Good luck! Diane

Thank you I really hope it’s nothing. The scan on Friday will make me 6weeks exactly. I really hope we can still see something there as I think i may have lost it in the clots- so seeing something will be reassuring. I had some cramp like pains too but the bleeding and clots just lasted over an hour and nothing since. Fingers crossed I’m so worried xx

I really do hope it’s okay - my husband says you don’t know until you get conformation which is right it you just worry. I think it’s the amount of clots and red bleeding I had that is not making me feel positive. I’m carry on with meds so let’s see. Thank you for replying back xx
