OPK strips confusion

Morning ladies, I have been using the think opk strips for years now but the last two cycles have stumped me! My cycle has gone from 28/29 days, ovulating on day 12-13 to 24 days and two strong lines the day after I stop bleeding. Sadly I think my period is now changing as I get into my forties and maybe I am not ovulating at all. We have run out of funds for fertility treatment and after eight years we are hanging on to hope for a natural miracle. Again though since developing fibroids this year, we are presented with another issue and another long wait to see a gyno specialist. Trying to face the facts my body is only going in one direction is so hard.

Hi troupe. How annoying. Hopefully it will get back on track agaon. Perhaps your GP could order a blood test for you to check it out. Meanwhile my advice would be to make sure you have sex every 3 days or more often if you want, throughout the cycle apart from when you bleed of course. You will ensure you have a supply of sperm in your tubes waiting for the egg to come down when it's ready. Thinking of you. Diane
