I'd say don't forget a towel for shower as in my experiences they usually make you shower after surgery so they see you're fit enough to go about your way before discharge, take big (high waisted) pants and loose, comfy bottoms with ideally slip on shoes or sandals. Take peppermint mints like extra strong mints and/or peppermint teabags and request boiled water. You may already know but the gas they use to inflate your abdomin during surgery basically floats about and takes a wee while to clear so after surgery you can get quite intense pains in shoulder tips, I've experienced it in ribcage too so peppermint helps to absorb the gas and movement helps too so once you're well enough and able do get moving, even little trips to the ward bathroom will help. I also took my ipad, kindle and earpods. On the gynae wards, like many others there's an alarm for patients to request assistance and it is LOUD and goes all bloody night so I needed music or netflix running in earbuds to help me get any sleep. If you're particularly fussy take your own pillow for comfort.
I've had 3 gymae surgeries for endo removal and had IVF around those and now have a little boy so it's definitely possible for natural (for the lucky people) and assisted conception with endo.
Hi FMohammed. I would say don't take too much as often you will be in their gowns. Take a dressing gown if you have one and some slippers. Take a toilet bag with soap face xloth toothbrush and paste and deodorant. Towel. Don't use creams as they put stickers on you for ECG during the op and they can slip off. Big girls pants and loose clothes to come home in. Perhaps a book and something to suck, mints or fruit sweets. Brush/comband perhaps a nightdress. They don't like you to take too much in, but don't forget your phone charger. Anything you forget they will provide. They give you wipes too. You will be fine, but don't expect a rest! You will soon be glad to get back into your own bed! Good luck! Diane
