I had a hysteroscopy on the 9th June. I bled after for a week and a half. Then I was due my period and it got much heavier so I’m presuming that’s my period. Usually it only lasts about 3 days and gets lighter but it’s now day 8 and still very visible. Anyone else had the same? Just wondering if I should get it checked?

I’ve had this done before also, but only had small bleed then it passed until I had my normal period. Once I had that it was the same as usual if your bleeding a lot I would get it checked out asap just to be safe xx
Hi! My period after my hysteroscopy was a lot heavier than I expected given the thickness of my lining at the time. I’d had pregnancy tissue removed and was told that could cause the heavier period. I would suggest checking advice to be sure 😊xx
I would have it checked to be sure but hysteroscopy clears up anything that is going on inside your uterus usually. If there was scar tissue, for instance, and now that is gone, you will build up a thicker lining and your period will be heavier. That’s a good sign, if so, because you will want a thick lining before transferring an embryo
