Hello, I'm a bit concerned. I had a hysteroscopy procedure 2 weeks ago they removed scar tissue and 2 polyps. After the procedure I experienced light red and brown discharge for about a week then it stopped however, the brown light pink discharge is happening again my period is not due until next week I never spot in between periods I'm pretty much on time every month. Should I be worried about this ???? I was ovulating when procedure was done.

I had this after my hysteroscopy too. I did ask my surgeon and he said it was normal. All resolved in my next cycle so I think it’s probably ok x
Hi Mjpaugam. Try not to worry about this. You had quite a lot done during your hysteroscopy, plus they will have taken some womb lining biopsies as well. The brownish stuff you are losing, is most likely due to old blood from the procedure coming away, and the healing process. Hope all soon settles down. Diane
Hi, I'm going to have a Hysteroscopy done too and because I'm also doing an ERA biopsy the Dr says I can do them both at the same time under general anesthetic. I'm just concerned that the Hysteroscopy should be done at a different time in my cycle e.g. Just after my period when my lining is thinner so they can see everything clearly? The ERA needs to be done 5 days after ovulation when the lining is its thickest...I see you had your Hysteroscopy done around ovulation. Did it all go fine? Did Dr ever stipulate when on your cycle it needed th be done and why? It's a lot of money and I want to get it right...
