Kir and hla incompatibility

Dear all,

I would like to ask if anyone has passed through the same situation and what treatment worked for them.

I was found to ve KIR AB and HLA C2C2 and partner is HLA C2C2. Our embryos will all be C2C2 and that causes an incompatibility which might hinder implantation. I was recommended aspirin, steroids and neuopogen ( GCSF). I am hesitant to take neuopogen as it has severe side effects and might affect the spleen and raises WCC to high levels.

Anyone passed through the same situation? What has helped in your situation?

Hi Blueberry. That is a strange mix, but if it's what to try, then go ahead as your specialist recommends it. If you are worried then ask if the low dose aspirin and prednisolone will suffice. Good luck! Diane

I have tried one transfer with steroids and aspirin and it was unsuccessful. I need to find more research about cases where it was used as I am still not inclined to using it. Thank you for your feedback!
