8th round of ivf..1 pgs tested embryo or use untested ?

Hi, after 2 miscarriages (number 4 and 5 ivf) with intralipids and steroids.. The next 2 rounds failed to implant.. Once was pgs tested as well 😔. No idea why as previously with intralipids and steroids they worked. Anyways I've had a hysteroscopy last month and I'm good to go. They found a few uterine polyps which they removed so I'm hoping this next FET will be successful. I'm going to be 43 next month and I keep having hope that it will happen but I'm also terrified of another miscarriage. I don't think I could cope. My dilemma now is do I go for the Pgs tested one embryo that I have frozen or do I go for 3 embryos (the doctor has finally agreed to let me try 3) that are not tested? Recently retrieved in February. I have 2 also from last year that I could potentially use.

Both my previous pregnancies came from untested embryos and both miscarried before 9 weeks...any advice or experience would be appreciated xx

There is a higher chance of miscarriage with polyps. Do you think that could have been the issue? I got naturally pregnant after doing ivf (surprisingly) but sadly MC’d at 12 weeks. It was odd I got so far and I had a big polyp at the time. No one can know but have always wondered if it was the polyp (and a few smaller ones I had)

Thank you.. So sorry about your miscarriage... My polyps were quite small so they may have stopped implantation but the miscarriages were more likely chromosome issues. Are you still trying?

Thank you for your commiserations, but luckily it’s a while ago now. So no, after polyp removal I continued with ivf and after a medicated failed transfer I had a successful naturally modified transfer and now I’m about to give birth to our first child ❤️

Hey, that's great that you have so many embryos. Personally I had a polyp removed and a successful pregnancy afterwards. I've also just turned 43. I think your dilemma partly depends on how quickly you want to get pregnant and how much energy and finances you have. Unfortunately I don't think there's any way of knowing which embryo will be successful. You could try the tested one and if that doesn't work test the others? Good luck xx

Thank you... I have energy but it's been a long journey and I do really want a baby before I get too old.my mum had said the sane as you to go for the tested one first so I'll try that. Fingers crossed...
