Hello ladies,

So my Pgs results came in. We had 2 bladtocyst sent for testing out of 20 embryos created. I was in complete shock when the news arrived yesterday that we have on completely beautiful healthy frostie and one Mosaic embryo.

The clinic is now suggesting an Era test. Any toughts? Km doing ivf in czech republic so apart from the cost of the Era there is also cost or travel.

Any suggestions? Anyone done it?

I feel so incredibly blessed having one pgs normal Embryo.

Hi,

I have had the Era test done due to constant implantation failure, we seam to be able to create beautiful embryos but they just don’t take, at that stage I must have had 6 transfers of perfect blastocyst ... my test came back absolutely normal and I found out later on that I have very high natural killer cells so that might be my problem. May I ask why are they steering you in the Era test direction? Did you also have many unsuccessful cycles? Anyway, if you decide to go for it make sure to take some painkillers before the test, I thought it will be like a smear test but it is very painful, at least it was for me and I am not someone with low pain tolerance...

Have a great day,

Anna

I HAVE done 2 ivfs and this is my first transfer. Unfortunatley I only had 2 blastocysts from 16 created embryos. I was completely certain I wouldn't get one Pgs normal from the 2 of them. When the results came in That one embryo is Pgs normal I was in complete shock as I was not expecting it. The clinic is pushing for an Era to increase succes.

I never had implantation failure as this is my first transfer

I have replied to your other post where I have given you an overview of my journey so far :)

I have also wanted to tell you, I keep telling it to myself everyday, to be patient ... after going through IVF for a while and reading millions of posts and talking to hundreds of women, I have observed and learned that most women who have first time success have it because the infertility problem doesn’t lie on there side, I have noticed that if the sperm is slow or not great quality the IVF helps with that by ICSI etc.but if the woman has a problem ( low egg reserves, bad egg quality, immune problems...) this journey takes multiple tries and longer...

Best,

Anna
