Help needed regarding ivf frozen cycle

Hi ladies please help or advise as best as you can. So myself and my husband are due to have our frozen emby transferred in just over two weeks and they gave me a prostap injection on day 21 which was 11 days ago we had sex the night before but used a condom. Today I am 11 days since we had sex and 10 days since the prostap injection and I'm preety sure I see a faint line on my test has anyone been through this really worried what the prostap injection will do

Hi Kieneyl, I know it’s been a while since you posted but I’m wondering how you are and if everything went okay with the pregnancy? I will be taking

Prostap on day 21 like you but my concern was that they may top up with a second dose of prostap after the 28days, but as this stays in your body for 28days will it not effect the frozen embryo as they will be transferring before the 28 days are up and technically you are pregnant from the moment they transfer but you just want it to stick, I’m really concerned as this is my last embryo. I will speak to my consultant about it.

Hi hun so yes I was pregnant but it sadly only got to eight weeks and who knows if that was down to the prostap I would be worried about having another one just before a transfer

Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that, I hope that you are okay, we’ll, okay as can be. I know you may not see it yet but there is hope and I hope at some point you can think positively and get back on the path of getting your baby. Whatever you decide I wish you the best.

I am concerned and I will speak to my consultant about it before we start again. Thank you for taking the time out to write back to me.

My pleasure we are about to have our frozen embie put in next week so fingers crossed please keep me posted and let me know what your consultant recommends also
