This is held on the first Sunday of May and was set up in 2010 by a woman who’s baby was sadly born still. It’s purpose is to support and honour all of the women who do not have their baby here in person with them - whether that is through baby loss, stillbirth, miscarriage of any kind, or infertility.

I should be 27 weeks pregnant today, instead I am waiting for my period to start drugs for our next cycle. I know that I’m far from alone in this situation, and the wonderful women on this board have helped hauled my arse through when times have been bad. Tonight I’ve lit a candle for all of our babies, and for everyone going through this journey xx

More light should be shined on all the mothers and fathers who have suffered lost, and have yet to hold their child…my heart breaks for us all. It takes you to a parallel world where you live amongst those who take for granted there ease in producing children and have no knowledge of having to live without them. Thank you for sharing this 🧡🌱
