Beta test Only slightly positive

Hello all,

I had a 5dt and today was 10dp5dt and my beta. The nurse mailed to tell me to continue the medication but the test is only slightly positive (i don't know what that means) and the clinic has called me in on Thursday again for another test. I am worried and so messed up right now. Is there anything i can do to improve my chances?? And is there anyone who had a similar experience?

I have never been pregnant before (had 2 failed FET previously)and I don't know what to do.

Firstly sending you the biggest of hugs, it’s really tough.

I’m in a similar boat with a positive this weekend but a finer line than it should be so just had to go and do a blood test to check my levels and should know results tomorrow. It’s so nerve wracking but try and keep yourself as calm as you can. I’ve also been quietly singing to my tummy and asking them to grow big and strong. My friend did this through a difficult IVF pregnancy and her daughter still finds it calming!

Keep eating healthily and drink water and try and be kind to your mind. I also looked on previous posts on here about low HCG and everyone’s results are so individual the important thing is that it’s approx doubling every 48/72 hours not the starting value.. it can definitely still work out ok. I can send you the posts I found encouraging if you would find it helpful. Xx

Thank u for your reply. I am almost in tears reading your reply. I will do as said. Big hugs to u too. Don't worry the lines will keep getting darker and darker.

Now just will wait for the test on Thursday...thats all i can do.

Ji obviously you need to be checked in 48 hours, meanwhile keep up with all medication then test first urine of the day on a couple of days. Good luck . Diane

Yeah ...i kept myself from testing early till beta but today after this update just got the test kits.

keep going as you are, it’s the doubling that’s important, not necessarily the number. Good luck, lots of stories of low initial HCG numbers which turned out fine. 🙏🙏 xx

congratulations…. Sometimes the clinics can try to be so technical… what is a little pregnant? As long as your numbers double every 48 hrs that is great. Wishing you the best!!!

If you don't mind me asking what was your beta HCG at day 10? My clinic said they want it to be around 100 but the most important Indicator will be that the beta HCG doubles in two days. For my first FET I got faint positives on a home test and my beta day 10 was 50. I was told by the nurse that it was lower than expected but to be cautiously optimistic. Unfortunately in my case the beta dropped and it was a chemical pregnancy of a euploid embryos so not clear why this happened. I have heard though of other people on this forum who had a lower than expected beta double in two days and they continued to have a normal pregnancy. I was gonna say I'm suprised they didn't give u the #. When I did my day 3 fresh transfer my beta came back @54. Which she sd well your pregnant, but we really like it to be over 100. So mine was also low, (she'll be 4yrs old on 8/29). But def agree with every1 else, ive seen even lower than mine, all that really matters is the doubling! So much baby luck for u hun! Hang in there!!!

Thank u guys for all the replies.... unfortunately for me this cycle was a failure..... First HCG level was super low @ 13.5 only and i was in the grey area and it increased to only 16.6 .So doc has asked me to stop the medication.
