Faint line - what to ask clinic. Progesterone levels? Anything else?

Hi all,

In case these faint lines are my pregnancy struggling, I want to make sure it has every chance of not resulting in an early miscarriage. Is there anything I can ask my clinic to test for to check we are doing all we can for it? Progesterone levels is the only thing I can think of. And getting HCG blood test. Anything people wished they'd asked their clinic?

Thank you. xxx

My clinic did hcg, progesterone, full blood count but at least vitamin D and folic acid are important, I guess you are taking supplements already. Depending on your hystory they might check thyroid and NK cells, but they would tell you if needed. Good luck hun!!! 🤞🏻

Still getting faint positives. Clinic aren't sure what to make of my blood test (?). So they're getting me in for an early scan next week. They're worried about ectopic pregnancy. I will update after my scan. Not very hopeful, but have some hope. Trying to be realistic.

Thanks. If it's not viable, it's not viable, but I want to make sure I'm doing what I can to help it stay in there and progress!

Hi Lolalules. Just went for a blood test today for HCG and progesterone. This isn't something my clinic normally do and they said it'll be fine don't worry (which was kind of reassuring), but I insisted. Hopefully hear back soon (not today)!

At least it looks like a good number to start! Although, I guess it doesn't mean loads without the second one?

Yeah it’s hard to tell, the more i read I’ve realised that it’s definitely really low so not a great outlook ☹️
