8dp5dt faint line... not sure what to think!

Took a first response test today. It might be a little early but it has a faint line (which looks slightly stronger in person than on the pic). I know there's a chance it could be the trigger still in my system so am trying not to get my hopes up. Will just have to keep testing tomorrow and day after etc. I did a clear blue digital test too which said not pregnant but I heard that they're not as reliable as first response in the early days. Also heard the pink lined tests are more reliable than the blue. So confusing!! Has anyone else experienced a very faint BFP on 8dp5dt and had this confirmed? My OTD is 12dp5dt on Thursday so I know it's about waiting until then really!!

Hi Kat. My very first BFP was a very faint line on a cheapy test. I took a FRER two days later and got a much clearer line. As the HCG doubles every 48 hours I would wait two days to get an accurate answer, it's hard but that's what I did. You're only wasting money if you test everyday but I'm one to talk, I must have spent £100 on the bloomin things!!! So long as the HCG is out your system from the trigger shot I would say it's looking very promising, fingers crossed!!! x x x

Thanks hun. How many days post how many days transfer were you when you got the first faint line? I've read lots of differing views on how long the trigger can stay in your system but most say it should be out by now! It's torture! Xxx

I did my first test at 10d2dt then got a good positive at 12dp2dt. Then I fell into the trap of testing every day and I'm still doing it 🙈 Waiting for my HCG levels to come back from GP and I might finally believe it x x x

Ok so you were 12dpEC and today I'm 13dpEC. I'm going to test tomorrow (and prob every day until OTD) to see. Hubby goes away for work tomorrow... that's why we tested a little earlier than we would have. Confused but really really hoping!!! Have you had your OTD? GOOD LUCK lovely xxx

Haha I don't blame you for testing! It's really exciting but it's terrifying at the same time!!! My OTD was the 13th, I'm now 5w 3d. I've just officially reached crazy lady status and took apart my CB Digital tests as they weren't showing me as 3+ yet and they should have been. So I've opened them up and can see that my third lines are getting stronger each day. No more testing for me now, I'm pregnant! (Repeats to self until believes it) See if you can get a HCG blood test after your OTD. I think that reassurance would have helped me. Instead I've been crying every morning thinking something is wrong. Now I know that's just the hormones!! The lovely, crazy hormones!!! x x x

Thanks lovely. My OTD is a blood test at the clinic so I'm hoping that is definitive proof of it is BFP. Eek 5wks and counting.... that's so exciting!!! Xxx🍀🍀🍀🍀

Just smashed apart the clear blue digital test and there are 2 lines on one litmus stick (one strong and one faint) and the other stick has one line.... what does that mean?! Xxx

😂😂😂 it's nice to know someone is as crazy as me!!! Ok so I googled this earlier and the first pic gave me a good indicator of what I was looking for. My third line is bold but only halfway to the darkest blue so it won't pick up 3+ yet. Google CB Digital inside and it should give you some indication 🙏🏼 x x x

Hi if you look on twoweekwait.com they've got mountains of dismantled tests of all brands and loads of random experiments done on them. Lol
