Hi
Yes i had a gastric bypass in 2012 unfortunately all my pregnancies after that resulted in losses not due to the surgery just due to my own issues and then i was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure so we did ivf in greece in the end , now have 3yo twin boys and no issue with the pregnancy or the surgery with that
many thanks for telling me about it and congrats on getting your twins. I have endometrial hyperplasia and my second biopsy came back 'worse' than first one even though I undertook hormonal treatment for it . My doctors think is my overweight causing the stubborn hyperplasia and my stress/depression for having to postpone the IVF do not help either .. so a vicious cycle .. We had a consultation with a bariatric specialist this Tuesday - I'm not eligible for a full-on bariatric surgery and they don't recommend the gastric ballon, so I have started a controlled diet under doctor's supervision. My treatment for correcting the hyperplasia is for 6 months so during that time I will try to loose the extra weight but I will be 44 by then
Im so sorry to hear that i dont know much about that condition but i so know that without it being corrected i think it would be very hard for you to get pregnant so it's important to get that fixed first in regards to ivf treatment if your looking at funding check with your CCG what age is their cut off because you could go through all this then not be eligible for the funding anyways if your private funding you do have time on your side im always happy to chat in PM if you want to we had to self fund due to having a child already.
