We transferred one embryo. To early to test??

Thank you for the advice regarding 1 or 2 embryos to be transferred. We chose to go with 1 in the end by advice from the clinic and reading your posts.

This is our second FET and I must say I feel the same as last time no symptoms or anything. Apart from yesterday I had horrendous back pain and the urgency to go to the toilet. It felt just like I would before a period. So I'm not too sure all ready if it has worked. I had it done Friday and it did not go smoothly it was stressful.

Has anyone fell had a positive with no symptoms? Or is spotting an cramps usual? Im really impatient and want to know. I waited last time. Has anyone tested so early? I'm probably being silly even contemplating it. Would it show anything yet?

When would you expect your period? Are you doing FET in natural cycle or with meds? I would definitely resist testing until the day you would expect your period to come, if you can't wait until OTD. And while I think that minor cramps are normal, there's absolutely no rule saying that you have to have spotting fire something to have happened. When I became pregnant with my son at 6th ET, a FET in a medically reenforced natural cycle, I didn't bleed a single drop until I got a 2x2 cm spot in my underpants which totally freaked me out at 14w 🙈 I can't remember having had a lot of symptoms either. But as my period never came, I managed to resist testing until OTD. I find it harder to resist testing if there's some complications along the road, as it's been this time with a week of bleeding during the 2ww...

My test date is Monday 21st. My period never comes on time so I'll never know when that is due really. I had a FET with meds. Congrats on your son.2ww is hard very hard. Especially as this is probably my final round.

Thank you for the advice x

The period will always be due 14 days after ovulation. When people are irregular with their periods, normally it's due to irregular ovulation. In your case now they probably have manipulated your cycle to have the ovulation come at one particular moment that they wanted to decide. So if you don't know your ovulation day, you can actually calculate it from the day you had your FET and how old your beanie was that day. Was it a 2 day beanie, ovulation was calculated to have been two days earlier, with a 5 day blastocyst five days earlier. So in the latter case you would expect your period to come 9dpt, so that would be the very earliest I'd test. On which day they told you to do the testing? My official test day is 16dpt after ET of a 5 day blastocyst (that is tomorrow)! That's a whole week past expected period 🙈🙈🙈 But for several reasons they gave me the opportunity to have my betas tested, so today I'll know if these positive tests seem to lead somewhere... 😳😳😳🙊🙊🙊

Oh bless you fingers crossed. Sending you lots of luck 🍀🤞I had a 5 day blastocyst on Friday 18th and they told me I can urine test early as Friday 18th? My official blood test day is Monday 21st.

Lots of luck to you x

OK, so then you would probably expect your period to come around 9 days after transfer, that is March 20th. But if your test day is 21st, I think I'd manage to wait that one more day anyway. I see many having kind of early test dates here on the forum. Makes me wonder why my clinic insist I wait until 16dpt to test (and how many of their clients who are actually managing to cope the almost 3ww without testing 🤪)...

Sorry to interrupt by just FYI periods aren’t always due 14 days after ovulation. Different women have different luteal phase lengths, for example mine has always been 12 days. It can be anything from 11 to 17 days but the average is 12 to 14 x

OK. Then I've been taught the wrong thing from my doctors. But I stand corrected. No problem.

Good luck 🤗⭐️ 7 or 8 days after transfer has always given me the outcome so that usually when I test but I’ve seen ladies getting a BFP sooner at 5 or 6 dpt but when I test then it has caused me more harm than good lol 🙈 xx
