ET done - 2 embryos

Morning all,

Made it to ET yesterday. This was our 4th and final cycle before we started looking at donor eggs. We had been advised that we should be looking at donor eggs with this cycle but we still had another cycle to complete with Access Fertility in order to get the refund to then pay for the donor round!

Anyway, Went into clinic yesterday expecting the news that all 3 remaining eggs had perished to be told that I had a grade A embryo!!! Also transferred was a grade C embryo and we are waiting for news about the 3rd one!!

Still in complete shock about this - only got to transfer once before!!

Let the 2ww mayhem commence!!

Good luck Lorraine!! V exciting particularly using your own eggs 🙏🏼 Donor egg ivf isn’t always as straightforward as we think. I had 3 failed rounds and produced more eggs and more success with my own eggs in their early 40s. Good luck 🤞🏼😊xxx

Hi, we are in a really similar situation. Just about to start our 4th cycle, been told the only way to really increase chance is donor eggs but with access so going again with my own first.

Really great news about your embryos and transfer, fingers crossed for you that it goes well. Hope your 2ww goes quickly! Xx

Good luck - the only thing I changed this time was starting COQ10 along with increasing the amount of protein I was eating.
