Stopped at week 14 but by that time I was having a horrible reaction to the progynova and was longing to get off it (I had intrahepatic choleostasis, which cleared up the minute I was off the progynova and utrogestan. It was horrific). My clinic does aggressive treatment. Worked, but gruelling.
Similar to the previous reply, I came off it as soon as possible; I'd already had a bad over/ reaction to it pre-FET and they'd reduced it down to one a day by the transfer. I stayed on one a day for a few more weeks and then tapered off it much earlier than the progesterone. My clinic were fine with this and seemed to be much more bothered about me staying on progesterone. I think by around 8-10 weeks the placenta is making enough of the hormones on its own, but they can keep you on meds a bit longer to be safe. Most people seem to be off between 10-12 weeks. If your doctor's happy with you coming off it then I'd trust that unless you have a particular reason to be worried about your oestrogen levels.
