In my experience, this is not normal. Are you taking any blood-thinning medication?
In one of my cycles, I was taking Clexane from the start of stim (due to acquired thrombophilia) and I spotted all the way until when (10 days after EC and 5 days after ET) I had a massive haemorrhage. After being told by the IVF nurse this was ok (she did not understand the amount of blood I was losing), I run to A&E (it was during one of the COVID lockdowns), where they stitched me immediately. I lost about 1 litre of blood and I had to stay overnight in the hospital.
I would ask someone in your clinic to do a speculum examination to understand where the blood is coming from and if this is really normal.
Hope I did not scare you. I may just have been unlucky since I also needed stitches again after my last EC...
Thanks for your reply. I’m not bleeding a lot but do need a panty liner. I don’t remember needing to do this for my previous 3 cycles. I’ll ask the doctor to check with speculum regarding before embryo transfer.
