Spotting after Egg Collection

Sorry if TMI had my egg collection on Thursday and have started taking the progesterone suppositories, this morning I've started spotting brown discharge, it's not much but wondering if this is normal? Also don't know if it's the progesterone but I've had really bad stomach cramps through the night and feel all hot and sweaty this morning - any advice would be appreciated x

Hi shanks. Spotting is probably just from the recovery of collection. But keep an eye on it. I had really bad cramps night after ec, it did go. You're allowed paracetamol for the pain. It did ease after 48hours.

Good luck x

Thanks Claire it seems to have stopped now I went for a walk this morning first bit of exercise I've done since EC wonder if that's what has caused it to shift x

Hi I had awful stomach ache after collection and had to take codeine. I also had some bleeding and think this is most likely from the collection procedure. Hope you feel better soon xxx

Hey I also had this after EC. Pain was horrendous, I could barley walk.

Regular paracetamol and drinking lots of water. Think your hubby is right, hopefully bed rest will do you good.

Hope your feeling better tomorrow and the pain has shifted xxx

It's such a horrible feeling, I remember thinking how does anyone return to work after this?

I was still tender on ET day but it had got much better so 🤞 It'll be the same for you tomorrow xxx

Fingers crossed fortunately they're doing my ET under general anaesthetic so at least I won't feel anything lol it just came on all of a sudden that's the strangest thing x
