My first FET has been unsuccessful ☹️ Had a fresh in December that also didn’t work. Feel like this is never going to happen! I hear so many stories of embryos implanting from just a first transfer. Why isn’t that the same with us? 🥺

To update you, I’ve done a test this morning, I really felt like I was going to come on my period during the night.

It was negative obviously. So hasn’t worked.

Very disappointing but I’m not really surprised 🥺😢

Am just really gutted and feel like this will never happen for us.

We are day 9 past transfer so it would have been positive by now if it was going to be, there isn’t even a faint line at all. I’m going to try and hold it together today as going into the office but it literally sucks 😔

I’m sorry to see your update. It’s heartbreaking and frustrating in equal measure.

I know there are those who get their BFP first time but try not to compare- your situations could be very different.

I remember feeling exactly like that and the way I coped was to throw myself in to research of what we could try next, trying to find some sort of reasoning.

For us it was transfer number 6 that worked. I’m not saying it’ll take that long for you but just to say we persevered and got there in the end.

Hope the office is ok today xx

Thank you for your message, really appreciate it. I think I’m going to ask for a Progesterone blood test on Friday when I go in to the clinic, I’m sure my levels are fine but for my own peace of mind I think it’s good to rule that out. It’s so hard not to feel deflated and like ‘ it’s never going to happen for us ‘ also I worry because I’m 37 so don’t feel like time is on my side egg wise! My levels and stuff are actually fine we are doing IVF for secondary infertility for my husband as now has male factor motility challenges. I just want this to happen 🥺

Yes that’s a good plan 👍🏼I was 37 when I started all of this and felt the same, but as your levels are ok there’s really no reason it won’t work, it’s just about finding the right formula.

Is your husband on lots of supplements etc? And did you do ICSI? X

Thanks that makes me feel better I feel like the old gal in this show sometimes 🙈😩 he takes the mens wealth fertility tablets daily and he drinks 250ml of Pom Juice daily too, he also doesn’t drink caffeine (never has done) and he stopped drinking booze totally for the past 2 years more or less while we’ve been TTC. Anything else you’d suggest would be helpful? X

Haha yes I felt like that too - but soon you realise that there are all ages struggling on here. I've just turned 39.....I would recommend Ubiquinol and NAC, plus omega for you both.

Ubiquinol gives the cells energy and NAC is an antioxidant which helps with sperm health (and egg).

xx

Sorry to hear you’ve been unsuccessful this time too that sucks, isn’t it a weird feeling that you sort of get used to the disappointment? This hasn’t hit me as hard as last time but I think that’s because I almost sort of expected it 😏
