I’m currently 7weeks pregnant, I’m on progynova 2 on a morning and 2 on an afternoon (tea time) until 12 weeks and also progesterone pessaries 3x per day.
My question is my nausea lasts the full day and by bed time I’m actually throwing up. I’m worried my pm progynova won’t have had time to go in my system. Any advice plz??

Hi I had all day sickness (actual being sick)so I took my progynova all at once at the end of the day when I felt least sick and could lie down after, maybe ask your clinic if that would be okay for you to take them all at once? If you keep it down in the morning then taking them all then?
I threw up a LOT whilst on these until 12 weeks but everything was okay and the clinic just said to try and keep as much of them down as possible 🤗🥰 xx
This is morning sickness at 7weeks. My MS lasted all day in the beginning and was rotten. Used to let up by the weekend but start badly on Monday again. Ginger biscuits, bland food, and don’t let yourself get hungry as the sickness then kicks in again. Finally abated around week 13. Sorry it’s not fun at the beginning but the one thing you can take from morning sickness is that your baby is very healthy! In terms of progynova, I had a naturally modified FET, so my body was making all the oestrogen. Given you’re 7 weeks now the progynova is probably just a fail safe- the progesterone is more important. The oestrogen is for growing the lining and keeping it healthy and you’re probably making enough anyway. So I wouldn’t worry about throwing it up. The HCG and the progesterone is way more important at this stage and sounds like you’re doing well. Congrats! X
I was so unwell on progynova in the run up to my FET - nausea in particular. Turns out I was on too much as I already have oestrogen dominance so they brought it right down before my FET. After BFP I reduced it and tapered off as soon as possible as it wasn't necessary for me. However, i got morning sickness constantly all day from around 6 weeks (it only really started to ease around 16 weeks) and I was told that if you've felt sick on oestrogen in the past you have more chance of bad morning sickness as your body is producing so much naturally. So it may be the Progynova is exacerbating the sickness or it may be you are going to feel like that no matter, and I wouldn't worry about it not absorbing at this stage as you should have enough naturally (but check with your clinic). I was also told that higher HCG correlates with more sickness which has been true for me so even though it was pretty rough, it was also reassuring. x
Congratulations ! Eat and drink regularly and in small amounts Do you know that FNUK have a support group you might find helpful- pregnancy after fertility problems facebook.com/groups/Pregnan... Janet
