Nearly at the end of the road

Hi this is my first time writing on this as I normally would just read everyone's posts well after years of trying and getting nowhere my friend very kindly gave me her eggs which ended up only 1 making it to the freezer and having alot of problems with the clinic over communicate with me and husband I also have IBD so all the stress ended with me having a flare up which I complained to the clinic about to now doing a FET cycle to the delivery company not delivering the meds in time which has now been cancelled cause my lining is to small I only have one last shot at this and it's very hard to get anywhere when I feel it's nearly the end of the road

I am so sorry you are having such a difficult time, its all so hard and the pressure just feels insurmountable some times. Sounds like your clinic are really messing a few things up. Now this cycle has been cancelled can you ask for a consultation with them to make sure all your dates etc are aligned and get your drugs delivered early so that at least that part is taking the pressure off you ? Its a hard enough process without them messing their bit up.

I hope you can take some time over Christmas to recover and get back in the right mindset. Remember that the embryo in the freezer isn't diminishing in quality so whilst it feels horrific right now a few months won't make that much difference.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through such a tough time. It does sound incredibly stressful and I know that cancelled cycles are such a knock.

I second what Daisy has suggested. The precious embryo is doing just fine in the freezer and you can take this time to recover and get ready for your next cycle. I know it's easier said than done! I hope things start looking up for you xx

Hi Thank you Daisy1245 and Hoop123 after your messages I got on the phone and booked my next appointment which was done through zoom in January which was great to get xmas out the way as I work in retail so I have made sure I have all the medication that I need for the FET which I start on 21st Feb first scan on the 4th March but cause my womb lining can't get higher than 5mm he said we should just go for it and transfer the embryo bit of a gamble but I think he is right
