I had 3 failed attempts. Two with an NHS clinic one with a private abroad.

Comparing the two, the staff was equally knowledgeable. However with the private clinic I felt more of a human, not a number. I felt that their aim was to help me achieve a pregnancy as opposed to the NHS where I felt their aim was to just put me through the process of stimulation, retrieval etc without looking for an outcome necessarily. With the private clinic I always have someone to contact and talk to, the same person. If I ask something I get an answer within a day. In the NHS clinic every time I spoke to different person who didn't know my case, had to look at my notes, would say a different thing from the last person before. I felt listened and got feedback from the private clinic. With the NHS they ignored things that happened in the first attempt and repeated the same mistakes. Not to mention the delays. 4 months to get from the AMH test to the actual stimulation (pre covid). Anyway in summary I would recommend my private clinic despite the failure. I would also recommend the NHS if you do not mind all I ve mentioned the delays and lack of organisation. The ivf process is one. There is no groundbreaking technology/ methods as the clinics are following regulations. All the best. If you want the clinics details I can send a pm

I would have mixed opinions. I’ve been private (still waiting on nhs!) but stayed with same clinic more to do with the fact they know more . I like that they contact you almost always on the same day and it’s never a problem with what you are asking no matter how trivial it seems. However, there is no consistency with doctors or nurses it is just whoever is available on the day. If you want to know more private message please

Hello dear, I’m really excited for my journey and can’t wait to have my babies with me. I went to Ukraine for my fertility processing. At first I wasn’t sure but it was really very organized and cooperative. The doctors and nurses have been brilliant though and been so thorough. As I was only doing one cycle they really gave me the best opportunity to get as many eggs as I could. For that they upped my dose and delayed my egg collection by a day. I found it better to be at this clinic. They took all the required tests and also prices are pretty not generally much in it. Because of their expertise and quality of service I'm now 28 week pregnant. My dh and I are awaiting twins to come in February by the surrogacy. I hope it will help you a little. Good luck for you!!
